Successful completion of an AP Music Theory course puts students ahead and prepares them for college level music classes.  Often a passing score on the AP Music Theory test lets students skip the whole first semester theory core.  More importantly, it opens worlds of information and skills that affect every part of them as an individual and musician.  I’ve been very happy to teach this course to groups and individuals.  I love watching students really get into the content and learn more than they ever imagined they could about music. I’m proud to say that in my last group of students who took this course, they all passed and many got 5’s on the AP test.
